THE $HOGUN - KEEPIN' IT FROSTY
Yo! Things been just a bit hectic since I last you up... Mass Transit strike and all your boy's still existin - check it out - The $hogun Lord Svetti Snakes a.k.a Coyote Hitchcock in addition to sludgin through the cold and all that I said let me get back to ya'll before the Holidays and hit you up wit a few thoughts...
First - did any of you catz check out the FIFA World Championships Final between Liverpool and Sao Paulo???!! Great match! For those who felt that Sepp Blatter and FIFA were attempting to do there typical money-grubbing schemes - well your right - but this time it's worked... by bringing all the World Soccer Confederations into a Global Club Championship it has spread "the fun" so to speak further than the old Toyota SuperCup which used to be played between the winners of Europes Champions League (supposedly the best club team in Europe) and South Americas Copa Libertadores (same for best club team in South America) played every year in Japan (neutral venue).
Well just as The $hogun predicted FC Sao Paulo emerged victorious 1-0 with a side made up of mostly domestic Brazilians who would never see the light of day on the Brazilan National Team...that just goes to show you how airtight Brazilian Calcio (soccer) is!! Like the United States in Basketball - no matter where it's played and no matter who wins or loses - the NBA is about what's hot in b-ball....
...but I digress....
Liverpool put a typical show of heroism and bravery in the second half - pouring everything into an all out assult on the Sao Paulo backline... Steven Gerrard -- the $hogun's pick for the best player in the English Premiership - once again showed why he should be the captain of the English National Side and not David Beckham... Steven is all heart, vim and vigor and always plays until the final whistle -- a shot that rolled up to him which he sent whistling just wide of the goal in the 93rd minute effectively signaled the end of Liverpool's chances to lay claim to being the best team in the World for 2005.
Was Sao Paulo the best club team in the World in 2005??!!
